What connection do house chores have with entrepreneurship? One may wonder.

There is a lot that connects a chore that a child does regularly at a certain time every morning to a productive lifestyle as an entrepreneur.

  

The act of showing up to do that chore everyday creates a sense of commitment and consistence.

The timeliness with which the chore is done depicts promptness and takes planning. (chores have to be done quickly in the morning before school)

The way the chore is done better when corrected creates a sense of excellence, thoroughness and precision with a personal touch.

As they grow older; they will progress to become more responsible and accountable adults.

Let them also graduate to bigger chores as they grow and be proud of it. Good education cannot be left in the hands of the teachers alone. A lot goes on in the mind of children as we model and explain these virtues to them.

 

Gradually with consistence,   the mindset of an entrepreneur is developed.  They progress to plan how to deliberately carry out tasks by using their initiative. They take calculated risks and develop boldness and ability to predict situations.
